Haridwar/Rishikesh - Guptkashi
The journey from Haridwar to Guptkashi covers a distance of 220 km and takes approximately 7-8 hours. Be sure to capture the stunning confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag, where the Ganga originates. Upon arrival, check into your hotel around 5-6 pm, unwind, and enjoy dinner between 8-9 pm. We recommend getting ample rest, as the next day's journey will begin past midnight, around 2-3 am.
Guptkashi to Kedarnath
The day begins with a 32 km drive to Sonprayag, followed by a 5 km shared taxi ride to Gaurikund. Known for its sacred hot water spring, Gaurikund is believed to purify those who take a dip in its holy waters. Arrive at Kedarnath Temple by evening to experience the serene evening aarti. Enjoy dinner between 8-9 pm and spend the night in a hotel or ashram.
Kedarnath to Guptkashi
Wake up early at 3 am for the Kedarnath Temple darshan and pooja. Afterward, visit Bhairavnath Temple, located about 1 km from Kedarnath Mandir. Don’t miss the chance to see Bheem Shila, the massive rock that protected Kedarnath Temple during the 2013 floods. Begin your trek back to Gaurikund and check into the hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit Vishwanath Temple, followed by dinner between 8-9 pm.
Guptkashi - Badrinath
Today, we embark on a 200 km journey from Guptkashi to Badrinath, starting early at 7 am to reach by 4-5 pm. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, including the Kedarnath and Chaukhamba peaks on a clear day. Upon arrival, take some time to relax before visiting the temple for the evening aarti to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Badrinath Ji. Return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.
Badrinath - Mana - Joshimath
An early morning visit to the temple adds a special touch to your journey. After breakfast, explore Mana Village, where you can visit Ganesh and Vyas Gufa, the confluence of the Saraswati and Mandakini rivers, and Bhim Shila. Return to Badrinath to board your cab or bus to Joshimath, the winter seat of Shri Badrinath Ji. In Joshimath, visit the revered Shri Narshinghdev Ji Temple before checking into your hotel for the night. Spend a relaxing evening with tea and snacks, followed by a delightful dinner at the hotel.
JOSHIMATH - Rishikesh/HARIDWAR
Today marks the conclusion of your tour. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Haridwar, covering a 275-km drive from Joshimath.
